Custom Colors for full color business card
There are many different color combinations you can use for your full-color biz card. First, there is the standard, classic white...which looks great in of itself. It helps designs and text to stand out. Next you can give an off-grey or off-tan as an alternate, which also helps to give the text and graphics the same crisp feel.
Next is a gradient background: which is a transitional color pattern stretching from one side of the business card to the other. You can have, for example, green going to white...creating a nice gradient effect color. Gradients don't always have to go from one particular color to white...they can go from blue to yellow, for example. With process color printing, many nice gradient color effects are possible.
You can have different bold colors on the background of your card...such as navy blue and gray. It's probably necessary for the text to be white...which is called "reversed text" on a card...and effect which aesthetically looks really nice.
Certain color combinations should be avoided with the cards..colors that don't complement each other.
Relex blue is always a good color choice for you business card, as are the following Pantone colors: Reflex black, hexachrome green, Blue 072 and Pantone Blue.
